Frequently Asked Questions

One Campaign
What is the One Campaign employee giving program?
The One Campaign is our annual employee giving campaign at HealthPartners. The campaign encourages colleagues to give donations to the areas of patient and family experience, research and education, and community benefit so that we can further improve health and well-being in partnership with our members, patients and community. We have teamed-up with America’s Charities to provide team members greater flexibility in deciding which programs and initiatives to support throughout the year by means of payroll deduction.

When is the One Campaign employee giving program held?
You can participate in our employee giving program from September 22 – October 13, 2025. We strongly encourage you to donate during this time of year. The employee giving site is only open for giving during the campaign. Outside of this time, colleagues can contact their local foundation directly to make a gift.
Who can participate?
All HealthPartners team members may participate.
Why donate
Why does our organization encourage philanthropy from its colleagues?

HealthPartners has a strong legacy of community giving. Team members look at the One Campaign as a personal way to live our mission and be a partner for good. Every dollar you donate goes toward programs and initiatives that are making a difference, whether its supporting hospital needs, capital improvements, patients and colleagues needs, community programs or research, education, which is a specific need due to funding changes at the national level.

Do I get to decide what programs or initiatives my donation supports?

Yes, colleagues can choose funds that match their personal interests and address the greatest needs of colleagues, patients and the community via our online portal.

How do I find programs or initiatives to support?

Check out our Giving Guide for step-by-step instructions on how to find a program and make a gift https://healthpartners.americascharities.stratuslive.com/giving-guide.

Does it matter how big or small the donation is?
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of our patients, colleagues and community. Many find that spreading a pledge over a course of a year, in smaller amounts like $2 to $10 per paycheck, makes it easy to budget.

What if I can’t afford to donate to the One Campaign?
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of our patients, colleagues and community. Many find that spreading a pledge over a course of a year, in smaller amounts like $2 to $10 per paycheck makes it easy to budget.

How much of my contribution will be donated to the charity or charities I choose?
Our company funds the administrative costs and therefore 100% of your contribution goes to our hospital foundations.

What is the Sustaining Donor Program?
The One Campaign Sustaining Donor Program automatically renews a colleague’s donation each year. That means your donations will continue through payroll deduction until you ask for the deductions to be canceled. Annually, you will receive an email that provides you with the opportunity to increase, decrease, stop or reallocate your gift.

Is the site open all year?
Our employee giving site is only open for giving during the campaign from October 1 - 20, 2024. Outside of this time, please contact your local foundation directly to make a gift.

Yes, your payroll contributions are 100% deductible. You can print a copy of your giving history at any time from America’s Charities website. A summary of your deductions made in 2025 will be sent to you by email early in 2026 and can also be found in your paystub and tax documents in the ERP found on MyPartner.
Why am I not seeing my listed fund as a donation option?
Some changes have been made to simplify giving options. Outside of the One Campaign, our HealthPartners Foundations can accept non-payroll gifts to any of our funds.
Can I designate my donation to go to a non-HealthPartners organization?
One Campaign donations support hospital foundations across HealthPartners, all of which support their local communities through a variety of programs and initiatives that fund care services, equipment and facility needs and research and education as well as specific community programming including Make It OK, Power UpLittle Moments Count and our Teen Leadership Council.

What are the benefits of making a gift via payroll?
Payroll donations make it easier to make larger contributions than giving by check. You can give as little as $2 per pay period through payroll deduction, which most people will find easier on their budgets than a one-time donation. You can give $260 to one of your favorite programs with just a $10 bi-weekly deduction.
How do I cancel a donation?
To cancel pledges made by credit card, you can email HealthPartners@charities.org. To cancel pledges made by payroll deduction, contact HealthPartners payroll at PayrollDepartment@HealthPartners.Com.
How can I make a gift of stock, through my Donor Advised Fund, or in a manner not listed above?
Please reach out to your local Foundation for next steps and instruction on how to make a gift in a way not listed above.
Why am I seeing America’s Charities listed on my paycheck?
America’s Charities, a nonprofit that inspires employees and organizations to support causes they care about, is our employee giving partner, acting as the funds management agent, as well as providing general campaign support and distributing employee contributions to the programs and initiatives selected by employees during the campaign enrollment.

Our America's Charities One Campaign giving site makes giving to multiple HealthPartners foundations possible. Through the site, you will be able to view your history as well.
